What class should I sign my child up for if they have never done gymnastics before?

We suggest starting your child in a Can Gym 1-3 class if they are 6+. If younger, we offer a Busy Bee 3 class for 2 and 3 year olds and Busy Bee 5 for 4 and 5 year olds.

How long are the classes?

Our Busy Bee classes are 1 Hour and our Can Gym and Can Jump classes are 1.5 hours.

What is the difference between Can Gym and Can Jump?

Our Can Gym classes are designed for young athletes to learn the basic gymnastics elements on the Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and Trampoline. Our Can Jump classes are introduced to the basics on the tumbling Floor, Double-Mini & Trampoline.

What should my child wear to class?

We ask that all children be in bare feet, in shorts & t-shirt or a body suit, and long hair tied back.
Please avoid clothes with buttons or zippers & jewelry.

What is TAG's withdrawal policy?

All recreational class withdrawal requests must be emailed to the office at tagsports@telus.net.

A 30 day cancellation request must be sent to tagsports@telus.net on the 1st of the month to be effective the following 1st of the month.
Example: To withdraw for March 1st, you would be required to provide notice by no later than February 1st.

Training will remain in full duration during the last month of payment and will not be prorated.

NSF & Declined payment fee: There is a $25 fee for all NSF Cheques and declined payments.

Late fee: Any tuition payment received after the 1st of the month will be subject to a $25 late fee.

Gym Closures

TAG will be closed during all statutory holiday.

There will also be a 2 week closure during Christmas break as well as the 1st week of Spring break.

What is the Gymnastics BC Registration/Insurance Fee?

All athletes registering for a class are required to pay the insurance/registration fee, which is valid from September 1st to August 31st of each year.

The yearly fee for recreational athletes is $75.
The fee varies for Xcel and competitive athletes.

If you have registered at another club in BC and they have paid for your insurance/membership to Gymnastics BC for the current year, we will transfer it to our gym and you will not be required to pay the fee again within the same year.

What is your class make-up policy?

If your child misses a class due to illness, we will do our best to find a date/time to provide a make-up class provided the class is not full.
Please note this depends on availability and class size.
