Xcel Program
In 2020, BC adopted the USA Gymnastics Xcel program to bridge the gap between the GBC (Gymnastics BC) Interclub and JO programs now called Canadian Competitive Program. Athletes may compete in BC under the Xcel Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. (Higher levels are under current review and consideration by the Federation).
Basic skills that are put together into a routine format are performed in front of a panel of judges at various meets. Xcel is an alternative competitive program that offers a rewarding gymnastics experience.
